To provide a process design support device that enables efficient design of an assembly process with excellent productivity.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a process design support device for supporting a design of an assembly process of obtaining a finished product by assembling on a downstream side a plurality of intermediate products obtained in parallel on an upstream side. Included are: creating means for creating a dendrogram that shows an assembly process from a plurality of parts through a plurality of intermediate products to a finished product by branching toward an upstream side in a time series, in consideration of configuration information on components constituting a finished product and constraint information on the availability of combinations of components or an assembly order of components; assembly time calculating means for calculating each assembly time required for assembly of an intermediate product or a finished product for each stage based on element time information required for assembly; process time calculating means for calculating a process time required from the start of assembly of the most upstream part to the end of assembly of the finished product based on the assembly time; and output means for outputting the dendrogram, the assembly time and the process time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】生産性に優れた組立工程の効率的な設計が可能となる工程設計支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、上流側で並列的に得られた複数の中間品を下流側で組み立てて完成品を得る組立工程の設計を支援する工程設計支援装置である。完成品を構成する部品に関する構成情報と部品間の組み合せの可否または部品間の組立順序に関する制約情報とを考慮して、複数の部品から複数の中間品を経て完成品に至る組立過程を、時系列の上流側に向かって分岐させて示す樹状図を作成する作成手段と、組み立てに要する要素時間情報に基づいて、ステージ毎で中間品または完成品の組み立てに要する各組立時間を算出する組立時間算出手段と、組立時間に基づいて、最上流側の部品の組立開始から完成品の組立終了までに要する工程時間を算出する工程時間算出手段と、樹状図、組立時間および工程時間を出力する出力手段とを備える。【選択図】図１
