To solve the problem in which, when taking out an object from a lower-stage storage chamber, a user cannot help bending his/her knees and back to take it out and this is a heavy burden on the body of the user, and to make usability of a lower-stage storage chamber favorable so as to alleviate the burden on the body.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes a refrigeration chamber, a middle-stage chamber arranged below the refrigeration chamber, and a lower-stage chamber arranged below the middle-stage chamber. The lower-stage chamber is constituted so as to be drawn out, and it has a lift mechanism capable of adjusting so that the height of the container or the door of the lower-stage chamber becomes higher than the time before it is drawn out in the case where it is drawn out.
