HERMETIC ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR

To restrain vibration of an electric motor from being transmitted to a compression mechanism part.SOLUTION: A hermetic electric compressor (scroll compressor S) comprises: an electric motor 2 comprising a stator 2a and a rotor 2b; a compression mechanism part 3 to be driven by the electric motor, and for compressing working fluid; a rotating shaft (crankshaft 6) for transmitting torque of the rotor to a movable part of the compression mechanism part; a supporting member (supporting plate 30) for supporting the stator; and a closed container 1 for housing the electric motor, the compression mechanism part, the rotating shaft, and the supporting member. The rotor is rotatably arranged on an outer peripheral side of the stator. The supporting member is welded and fixed to the closed container.
