Zusammenfassung:	To provide hollow resin particles which have a high spherical ratio and can increase a hollow ratio while securing strength, a heat-sensitive recording material including a heat insulation layer containing the hollow resin particles, and a method for producing hollow resin particles which can obtain a spherical shape at a high rate, and can increase a hollow ratio while securing the strength.SOLUTION: Hollow resin particles are hollow inside, and contain a polymer of a crosslinkable monomer.
