To provide an alarm system that can improve the safety of inhabitants and others by securing lighting on a site other than the installation site of an alarm unit at the time of the occurrence of blackout.SOLUTION: An alarm system S1, which is driven by a power supplied from a commercial power supply 300, comprises: an alarm unit A1 for raising a predetermined alarm; blackout detection means 101 for detecting the state of blackout of the commercial power supply; a portable terminal P1 (P2) that can receive a predetermined signal D1 from communication means 103 of the alarm unit through wireless communication; and control means 104 for controlling operations of the blackout detection means and the communication means. The portable terminal includes at least a voice output function 202 and a light-emitting function 201 that can operate based on the predetermined signal. When the state of blackout is detected by the blackout detection means, the control means controls a signal for notifying a rough location of the portable terminal so as to be transmitted from the communication means to the portable terminal by making at least one of the voice output function and the light-emitting function operate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】停電発生時において警報器の設置場所以外での照明を確保でき、住人等の安全性を向上することのできる警報器システムを提供する。【解決手段】警報器システムＳ１は、商用電源３００からの電力供給で駆動し、所定の警報を発する警報器Ａ１と、商用電源の停電状態を検知する停電検知手段１０１と、警報器が備える通信手段１０３との間で、無線通信を介して所定信号Ｄ１を受信可能な携帯端末Ｐ１（Ｐ２）と、停電検知手段および通信手段の動作を制御する制御手段１０４とを備え、携帯端末は、所定信号に基づいて作動可能な音声出力機能２０２および発光機能２０１を少なくとも有し、制御手段は、停電検知手段で停電状態が検知された際に、音声出力機能または発光機能の少なくとも一方を作動させて、携帯端末の大凡の位置を報知させるための信号を通信手段から携帯端末に対して送信するように制御する。【選択図】図１
