ARTICLE INSPECTION DEVICE

To provide an article inspection device which can quantitatively grasp an adverse effect on precision of measurement of a following article by operation of sorting of a preceding article to accurately set a sorting timing without carrying a plurality of articles.SOLUTION: An article inspection device comprises: an article detection sensor 14 which detects a carried article W and outputs a signal; a measuring device 10 which measures an article weight at a predetermined measurement timing and determines a quality state; a sorting device 20 which sorts the article W at a predetermined sorting timing according to a determination result; and a control device 30 which controls the measuring device 10 and the sorting device 20 at the measurement and sorting timing based on an article detection signal and stores a measurement value. The control device 30 sets the plurality of sorting timings in a predetermined timing range, operates the sorting device 20 at each of the sorting timings a predetermined number of times, when the control device causes the measuring device 10 to measure the article weight at the measurement timing corresponding to each of the sorting timings, and calculates a variation in the measurement value for each of the sorting timings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】複数物品を搬送することなく選別タイミングを的確に設定するために、先行物品の選別動作による後続物品の測定精度への悪影響を定量的に把握できる物品検査装置を提供する。【解決手段】搬送物品Ｗを検知して信号出力する物品検知センサ１４と、物品重量を所定測定タイミングで測定し品質状態を判定する計量装置１０と、その判定結果に応じて所定の選別タイミングで物品Ｗを振り分ける選別装置２０と、物品検知信号に基づく測定および選別タイミングで計量装置１０および選別装置２０を制御するとともに測定値を記憶する制御装置３０とを備えた物品検査装置であって、制御部３０は、選別タイミングを所定のタイミング範囲で複数設定し、各選別タイミングで選別装置２０を所定回数動作させるとき、その選別タイミングに対応する測定タイミングで計量装置１０に物品重量を測定させ、その測定値のばらつきをその選別タイミングごとに算出する。【選択図】図１
