Zusammenfassung:	To provide an adsorbent of cesium capable of effectively adsorbing radioactive cesium spilled into water, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: An adsorbent of cesium includes a support medium modified so as to have a carboxyl group on the surface and Prussian blue that is synthesized on the surface of the modified support medium and formed at least partly by chemically combining with the surface of the support medium. The adsorbent of cesium is easily manufactured in a simple solution process where a support medium such as a polymer material, a mineral, and activated carbon is treated with a solution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】水中に流出した放射能元素であるセシウムを効果的に吸着できるセシウム吸着剤、およびその製造方法の提供。【解決手段】表面にカルボキシル基を有するように改質された支持体および改質された支持体の表面で合成されて支持体の表面と少なくとも一部化学的に結合されて形成されたプルシアンブルーを含むセシウム吸着剤であって、高分子素材、鉱物、活性炭等の支持体を溶液によって処理する簡単な溶液工程で容易に製造することができる。【選択図】図１
