To provide an electronic device housing and an electronic device that include a lightweight and fall-proof cover that is easy to handle even for work in a high place with a high heat-dissipation effect that allows air to flow smoothly and allows internal heat to escape efficiently to the outside.SOLUTION: A protective cover has a structure in which a plate is bent into an L-shape to prevent a protective cover from falling and to reduce a weight of the device, a gap between a top cover plate of the protective cover and a main unit is secured, and a large opening at a bottom of the device improves a heat removal effect.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】高所での作業であっても扱いやすい軽量で落下防止構造のカバーを備え、同時に、滞りなく空気が流通し内部の熱を効率よく外部へ逃がすことのできる排熱効果の高い電子機器の筐体及び電子機器を実現する。【解決手段】保護カバーを、板をＬ字形状に曲折させた構造とすることで保護カバーの落下防止と装置の軽量化を実現でき、さらに保護カバーの上面カバー板と本体との間に隙間を持たせ、装置の下部を大きく開口させることで排熱効果を向上させる。【選択図】 図４
