Zusammenfassung:	To provide a magnetic encoder capable of checking product information while maintaining rotational stability.SOLUTION: A magnetic encoder 10 is formed by integrating an annular support member 11 with an annular magnetic body 15. The magnetic body includes an area to be detected 16 in which an S pole 16S and an N pole 16N are provided alternately in a circumferential direction and a product information area 18 provided as magnetic information separately from the area to be detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】回転安定性を維持しながらも、製品情報の確認が可能な磁気エンコーダを提供する。【解決手段】環状の支持部材１１に環状の磁性体１５を一体化した磁気エンコーダ１０であって、前記磁性体は、Ｓ極１６Ｓ及びＮ極１６Ｎが周方向に交互に設けられた被検出領域１６と、この被検出領域とは分離して磁気的情報として設けられた製品情報領域１８と、を備えている。【選択図】図１
