FALL PREVENTION DEVICE

To provide a fall prevention device that can be smoothly mounted between the top surface of furniture and a ceiling.SOLUTION: A fall prevention device includes a damper 1, a pair of base portions 2A, 2B, a holding member 3, and a braking member 4. The damper 1 has a cylinder 5 and a rod 6 that can be extended and retracted with respect to the cylinder 5. The damper 1 is attached between the top surface of furniture F installed on the floor and a ceiling C. The damper 1 generates an urging force in an extension direction. The pair of base portions 2A, 2B are connected to both ends in a length direction of the damper 1, respectively. One base portion 2A comes into contact with the top surface of the furniture F, and another base portion 2B comes into contact with the ceiling C. The holding member 3 holds the damper 1 in a contracted state in a desired length. When the holding member 3 releases the contracted state of the damper 1 and the damper 1 extends, the braking member 4 moves together with the holding member 3 while applying resistance to the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】家具の上面と天井との間に円滑に取り付けることができる転倒防止装置を提供する。【解決手段】転倒防止装置は、ダンパ１、一対のベース部２Ａ，２Ｂ、保持部材３及び制動部材４を備えている。ダンパ１はシリンダ５とシリンダ５に対して伸縮自在なロッド６を有する。ダンパ１は床面上に設置された家具Ｆの上面と天井Ｃとの間に取り付けられる。このダンパ１は伸長方向に付勢力を発生する。一対のベース部２Ａ，２Ｂはダンパ１の長さ方向の両端部に夫々連結されている。一方のベース部２Ａが家具Ｆの上面に当接し、他方のベース部２Ｂが天井Ｃに当接する。保持部材３はダンパ１を所望の長さの収縮状態に保持する。制動部材４は保持部材３がダンパ１の収縮状態を解除してダンパ１が伸長する際に、シリンダの外周面との間に抵抗を付与しつつ保持部材３と共に移動する。【選択図】図１
