Zusammenfassung: | To propose the following for the purpose of providing an analysis apparatus which can use a capillary as a measuring cell to enable reliable and reproducible measurement with a high signal-to-noise ratio, in view of the fact that a known apparatus for analyzing particles includes a capillary as a measuring cell with a hollow channel for receiving or passing through a test sample containing the particles, a light source for generating a light beam, an optical device for input-coupling the light beam into the hollow channel at an input-coupling point for the purpose of illuminating the test sample, and a detector for detecting scattered light exiting the hollow channel.SOLUTION: A hollow channel 4 has an internal diameter in the range of 10 μm-60 μm, and a light beam 63 has a radial light intensity distribution with a minimum beam diameter, provided that "greater than 0.05 and smaller than 2.00" holds for the diameter ratio, and the light beam has an incidence angle of less than 2° in relation to a hollow channel longitudinal axis 9 on entering the hollow channel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
