To provide a satisfactory growth environment for plants in cultivation shelves of a multistage shelves even in a case of a large-scale plant factory.SOLUTION: An artificial light type plant factory (1) in which a plurality of multistage shelves (3) having a plurality of cultivation shelves (31) are arrayed in a space (2), and an air conditioner (5) performs air conditioning inside the space comprises: a duct (7) which is disposed corresponding to each cultivation shelf of the multistage shelves and discharges cooling air from the air conditioner from vents into the cultivation shelf; a compressor (6) which compresses cooling air sent out to the duct; and a cooling tube which is provided for a part of the duct and allows cooling medium for cooling the cooling air in the duct to circulate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】大規模な植物工場であっても、多段式棚の栽培棚内の植物に対して良好な生育環境を提供すること。【解決手段】空間（２）内に、栽培棚（３１）を複数有する多段式棚（３）が複数配列され、空調機（５）によって空間内の空調を行う人工光型植物工場（１）において、多段式棚の各栽培棚に対応して配設され、空調機からの冷却空気を通風孔から栽培棚内に放出するダクト（７）と、ダクトに送出される冷却空気を圧縮する圧縮機（６）と、ダクトの一部に設けられ、ダクト内の冷却空気を冷却する冷却媒体を流通させる冷却管と、を具備する構成とした。【選択図】図２
