COUNTING DEVICE, COUNTING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

To provide a counting device capable of correctly count the total number of objects to be counted.SOLUTION: Disclosed counting device 1 includes storage means 11, image acquisition means 12, and counting means 13. The storage means 11 is configured to previously divide an area where count objects 4 are present, set the divided areas as divided areas A1 to A12 and store the divided areas. The image acquisition means 12 is configured to acquire an image of the count object 4 for each of the divided areas stored in the storage means 11.
