An inner peripheral end of a first frame-like sheet 46a of the resin film 46 faces an outer peripheral end 44e of a cathode electrode 44 at an outside of the outer peripheral end 44e via a gap G. An inner peripheral part of a second frame-like sheet 46b is sandwiched between an anode electrode 42 and the cathode electrode 44. A first metal separator 30 facing the first frame-like sheet 46a is provided with a projecting support structure 89 configured to support an inner peripheral part of the first frame-like sheet 46a and an outer peripheral part of the cathode electrode 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】樹脂フィルム付きMEAを備えた発電セルにおいて、樹脂フィルムの両側のガス差圧による変形に伴う応力を抑制し、樹脂フィルムの剥離や破断を防止することが可能な発電セルを提供する。【解決手段】発電セル12の樹脂フィルム付きMEA28は、電解質膜・電極構造体28aと樹脂フィルム46とを有する。樹脂フィルム46の第1枠状シート46aの内周端は、カソード電極44の外周端44eよりも外方で隙間Gを介して外周端44eに対向する。第2枠状シート46bの内周部は、アノード電極42とカソード電極44との間に挟持される。第1枠状シート46aに対向する第1金属セパレータ30には、第1枠状シート46aの内周部及びカソード電極44の外周部を支持するように構成された凸状支持構造89が設けられる。【選択図】図2 |
