DIFFERENTIAL DEVICE

To secure a favorable lubrication state with respect to each part by a lubricant irrespective of a traveling speed of a vehicle, and to enhance the rigidity of a housing.SOLUTION: An operation gear mechanism is arranged in a housing. The operation gear mechanism comprises a ring gear rotated by power transmitted via a drive gear, and a differential case which rotates integrally with the ring gear. The housing comprises a cover part for covering the open gear mechanism, and a first rib and a second rib which protrude downward from an inner face of an upper part of the cover part, and the first rib and the second rib are located apart from each other to left and right sides with a position immediately above the ring gear as a reference. By this constitution, a favorable lubrication state with respect to each part by a lubricant can be secured irrespective of a traveling speed of a vehicle, and the rigidity of the housing can be enhanced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】 車両の走行速度に拘わらず潤滑オイルによる各部に対する良好な潤滑状態を確保すると共にハウジングの強度を高める。【解決手段】 ハウジングの内部に作動ギヤ機構が配置され、作動ギヤ機構はドライブギヤを介して伝達される動力によって回転されるリングギヤとリングギヤと一体になって回転されるデファレンシャルケースとを備え、ハウジングは作動ギヤ機構を覆うカバー部とカバー部における上部の内面からそれぞれ下方に突出された第１のリブ及び第２のリブとを備え、第１のリブと第２のリブがリングギヤの真上の位置を基準として左右に離隔して位置された。これにより、車両の走行速度に拘わらず潤滑オイルによる各部に対する良好な潤滑状態を確保することができると共にハウジングの強度を高めることができる。【選択図】図８
