To provide: a thermochromic solid writing instrument which does not allow unintentional discoloration or decoloration, and which has excellent design and excellent usability when erasing writing or handwriting; a writing instrument case which can encase the solid writing instrument; and a writing implement set comprising the solid writing instrument encased in the writing instrument case.SOLUTION: A thermochromic solid writing instrument comprises a wooden shaft, and provided with a specific primer layer and a specific transfer layer on an outer surface thereof.
