The agent for inhibiting decrease in blood oxygen concentration may be a liquid formulation having an organic germanium compound represented by formula [II] as an active ingredient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】本発明は、服用等という簡単な手段で、高地等の低酸素分圧条件下においてもＳｐＯ２の低下を効果的に抑制することのできる薬剤を提供する。【解決手段】発明の血中酸素濃度低下抑制剤は、式［Ｉ］Ｇｅ−（ＣＨ２−ＣＨ２−ＣＯＯＨ）２Ｏ３で表される有機ゲルマニウム化合物を有効成分とすることを特徴とするものである。又、発明の血中酸素濃度低下抑制剤は、式［ＩＩ］【化１】で表される、式［Ｉ］で表される有機ゲルマニウム化合物を有効成分とする液剤であってもよい。【選択図】図１
