Zusammenfassung:To provide a method for simply assembling a high frequency surgical instrument.SOLUTION: The high frequency surgical instrument comprises two instrument branches 10 that can be moved toward each other into a closed position. The two instrument branches 10 each have at least one electrode 18 and can be supplied with electrical energy by a power supply 24. The high frequency surgical instrument comprises separately-configured bridging means 36, or a printed circuit board 34 which is adapted to be populated by machine. The bridging means can be connected to the power supply 24 by means of at least one electrical connection or at least one electrical line 22 and comprises at least one electrically conductive contact point 26, 28, 30, 32, and 33 in order to supply the at least one electrode 18 with electrical energy.
