To improve workability of a user with respect to an automatic treatment agent tank.SOLUTION: A drum type washing machine includes: an outer case; a water tub provided inside the outer case; a treatment agent manual feeding device which has a manual treatment agent case in which a washing treatment agent for one workload can be stored, and which feeds the entire amount of the washing treatment agent stored in the manual treatment agent case into the water tub during a washing operation; and a treatment agent automatic feeding device which has an automatic treatment agent tank which can store the washing treatment agent for a plurality of workloads, and which feeds a predetermined amount out of the washing treatment agent stored in the automatic treatment agent into the water tub during the washing operation.
