Zusammenfassung:To provide a method for measuring eccentricity capable of correctly measuring the eccentricity of rolls, and a method for producing a cast strip.SOLUTION: A twin roll type continuous casting device 10 comprises: a pair of rolls 17 rollably arranged at a housing 16; a basin part 24 formed of the pair of rolls 17 and a side weir 22; and a range finder 40 provided at the vicinity of a roll to be measured in the pair of rolls 17 and measuring a deviation yin the radial direction of the roll to be measured at a position of an angle θ from a plane including both the shafts of the pair of rolls 17, wherein a molten metal 28 poured into the basin part 24 is crimped to continuously cast a cast strip 30.
