ELEVATOR SYSTEM AND ELEVATOR GROUP MANAGEMENT CONTROL METHOD

To improve the operation efficiency of an elevator by detecting the number of people in an elevator hall while maintaining the designability of the hall by making a user not feel an incongruity.SOLUTION: An elevator system comprises people number detection devices 2 attached to a guide device 1 installed in the vicinity of an elevator hall door 3, and including a photographing device for photographing a user 6 who waits an elevator, and an in-hall people number calculation device 8 for calculating the number of people in the hall on the basis of information from the two or four people number detection devices 2 which are arranged at the elevator on a diagonal of a hall 10. Then, detection directions of the people number detection devices 2 are set so as to direct a center of the hall 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】利用者に不快な意識をさせずに、乗り場のデザイン性を維持しつつ、エレベーターの乗り場の人数を検出して、エレベーターの運行効率を向上させる。【解決手段】エレベーター乗り場ドア３の近傍に設置される案内装置１に取り付けた、エレベーター号機を待つ利用者６を撮影する撮影装置を含む人数検出装置２と、乗り場１０の対角線上のエレベーター号機に設けられる２個または４個の人数検出装置２からの情報に基づいて乗り場人数を算出する乗り場人数算出装置８を備える。そして、それぞれの人数検出装置２の検出方向は、乗り場１０の中心を向くように設定される。【選択図】図１
