ACCUMULATED GREASE REMOVING DEVICE

To provide an accumulated grease removing device capable of removing rope grease accumulated on a sheave and preventing the removed rope grease from being attached to the sheave again.SOLUTION: The accumulated grease removing device for removing accumulated grease from a sheave 1 around which a rope 5 is wound, includes a first stripping piece 6a and a second stripping piece 6b that are installed adjacent to each other at different positions along an outer periphery of the sheave 1 and respectively have base end parts pivotally supported to be rotatable. Spring bodies 6c giving the turning force in a direction of separating tip parts of the first and second stripping pieces from the adjacent stripping pieces are provided with respect to the first and second stripping pieces.
