ELECTRIC PUMP

To provide an electric pump that can easily suppress deformation of a can.SOLUTION: An electric pump includes: a motor housing 32; a pump housing 12 adjacent to the motor housing 32; a rotor 34 that is accommodated in the motor housing 32 and is axially supported by a rotating shaft; a stator 33 that is disposed radially outside of the rotor 34 and is fixed to the motor housing 32; a pump unit that is accommodated in the pump housing 12, sucks in and discharges a fluid with rotation of the rotor 34; and a cup-shaped can 60 that is provided between the rotor 34 and the stator 33 to prevent the fluid in the pump unit from flowing into the stator 33. A seal member 65 is disposed between the can 60 and the motor housing 32, and a communication passage 70 for bringing the inner side of the can 60 and the outer side of the can 60 into communication with each other is formed between the motor housing 32 and the pump housing 12 and closer to an opening 61 side of the can 60 than the seal member 65.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】キャンの変形を容易に抑制することができる電動ポンプを提供する。【解決手段】モータハウジング３２と、モータハウジング３２に隣接するポンプハウジング１２と、モータハウジング３２に収容され、回転軸によって軸支されるロータ３４と、ロータ３４の径方向外側に配置され、モータハウジング３２に固定されるステータ３３と、ポンプハウジング１２に収容され、ロータ３４の回転によって流体を吸入及び吐出するポンプ部と、ロータ３４とステータ３３との間に設けられ、ポンプ部の流体がステータ３３に流入することを防止するカップ状のキャン６０と、を備え、キャン６０とモータハウジング３２との間にシール部材６５が配置されるとともに、モータハウジング３２とポンプハウジング１２との間であって、シール部材６５よりもキャン６０の開口６１側に、キャン６０の内部側とキャン６０の外部側とを連通させる連通路７０が形成されている。【選択図】図３
