Zusammenfassung:To provide an iron oxide production facility capable of accurately measuring a flow rate of a waste hydrochloric acid with high concentration that is discharged from a bottom part of an intermediate washer and flows within a waste hydrochloric acid collecting tube.SOLUTION: An iron oxide production facility 1 comprises a roasting furnace 10 configured such that a waste hydrochloric acid with high concentration that is sprayed into the furnace and is brought into contact with a hot air occurring within the furnace is converted into hydrogen chloride and iron oxide; an intermediate washer 20 configured such that a waste hydrochloric acid collected at an acid washing step and a waste gas containing hydrogen chloride supplied from the roasting furnace 10 are contacted with each other to generate the waste hydrochloric acid with high concentration; and a waste hydrochloric acid collecting tube 30 that is connected to a bottom part of the intermediate washer 20 and allows the waste hydrochloric acid with high concentration to be collected in an external tank 24. The waste hydrochloric acid collecting tube 30 comprises a vertical pipe 31 that is connected to the bottom part of the intermediate washer 20 and extends vertically downward from the bottom part; a horizontal pipe 32 that extends horizontally from the vertical pipe 31; and a straight pipe part 35 that extends vertically upward from the horizontal pipe 32 and includes a flow rate meter 34 for measuring a flow rate of the waste hydrochloric acid with high concentration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】中間ワッシャーの底部から排出された廃塩酸回収管内を流れる高濃度廃塩酸の流量を正確に測定することができる酸化鉄製造設備を提供する。【解決手段】酸化鉄製造設備1は、炉内に噴霧した高濃度廃塩酸が炉内で発生している熱風に接触することで塩化水素及び酸化鉄を製造する焙焼炉10と、酸洗工程から回収した廃塩酸及び焙焼炉10から供給された塩化水素を含む排ガスが塔内で接触することで高濃度廃塩酸を生成する中間ワッシャー20と、中間ワッシャー20の底部に接続された、高濃度廃塩酸を外部槽24に回収する廃塩酸回収管30とを備える。廃塩酸回収管30は、中間ワッシャー20の底部に接続され、その底部から鉛直下方に延びる鉛直配管31と、鉛直配管31から水平方向に延びる水平配管32と、水平配管32から鉛直上方に延び、高濃度廃塩酸の流量を測定する流量計34を配置した直管部35とを備えている。【選択図】図2
