【課題】アルデヒド型ビスフェノール化合物の製造方法において、著しく高い位置選択性で４，４'−置換体を効率的かつ容易に得る。【解決手段】フェノール類とアルデヒド類からアルデヒド型ビスフェノール化合物を製造する際に、酸触媒としてヘテロポリ酸を用いる。ヘテロポリ酸は水素原子、酸素原子、周期表第５〜６族に属する原子、および酸素原子を除く周期表第７〜１６族に属する原子をそれぞれ構成原子として含み、水素数／アニオン比が０．０８０以上である。【選択図】なし |
