【課題】Si含有負極活物質を備えるリチウムイオン二次電池の容量を好適に維持する使用方法、さらには、容量が低下したSi含有負極活物質を備えるリチウムイオン二次電池の容量を回復する方法を提供する。【解決手段】Si含有負極活物質を具備する負極を備え、放電時の負極最大電位E0を0.65V(vsLi/Li+)未満として通常使用されるリチウムイオン二次電池の使用方法であって、所定の状態となった際に、通常使用時の負極最大電位E0よりも高い負極電位E1まで放電することを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池の使用方法。【選択図】なし |
