Zusammenfassung:To provide a manufacturing method of an irregularly shaped polarizing plate high in productivity without causing axis deviation.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an irregularly shaped polarizing plate includes at least the steps of: producing an irregularly shaped sheet polarizing plate intermediate body for cutting processing from a long or sheet-like polarizing plate; and processing the obtained irregularly shaped sheet polarizing plate intermediate body by cutting. The irregularly shaped sheet polarizing plate intermediate body has at least one linear outline portion.
