INTAKE AIR COOLING DEVICE ABNORMALITY DETECTION SYSTEM FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

To provide an intake air cooling device abnormality detection system for an internal combustion engine, which can reliably detect abnormality in an intake air cooling device without delay even if characteristic abnormality occurs in an intake air temperature sensor.SOLUTION: An intake air cooling device abnormality detection system for an engine 1 includes a first intake air temperature sensor 17 that detects an intake air temperature in an intake pipe 16 at a downstream side of an intercooler 13, and a second intake air temperature sensor 19 that detects an intake air temperature in an intake manifold 15.
