RESIN-CONTAINING WOODEN MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

To provide a resin-containing wooden material with high rigidity that is unlikely to crack due to dryness after heat processing.SOLUTION: The resin-containing wooden material includes a wooden material and polyalkylene glycol. On the end surface of the wooden material, the proportion of the cross-sectional area of vessels with diameters of 30 to 200 μm is 5% or more and less than 60% per growth ring. The polyalkylene glycol permeates the inside of the vessels, and the weight-average molecular weight is 3000 to 20000. The content of the polyalkylene glycol in the resin-containing wooden material is 30 to 70 mass%.
