Zusammenfassung:To provide a polishing tool and polishing method for the inner surface of a metallic pipe, capable of polishing the inner diameter surface of an extremely small-diameter metallic pipe or the metallic pipe having a complicated shape including a diameter-reduced taper part or curved line portion.SOLUTION: A polishing tool 1 for the inner surface of a metallic pipe is produced by discharging on a synthetic resin-made filamentous core material, a polishing body which is prepared by adding a hardener and a foaming agent to a synthetic polymer compound including silicone as a main component and hardening to make discretely, firmly adhere to the core material. Besides, a polishing method includes: inserting the polishing tool 1 in the inside of the metallic pipe 4; contacting the polishing body on the pipe inner surface while deforming the polishing body fitting in the size and shape of that inner surface; moving the polishing tool 1 toward the center axis of the pipe 4 by drafting the core material toward the above axis or rotating according to need; and polishing the pipe inner surface by rubbing that surface while pressurizing by resilience of the polishing body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】極小径の金属管や、縮径テーパ部分や曲線部分を含む複雑形状の金属管の内径面を研磨することができる、金属パイプ内面研磨具および研磨方法を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の金属パイプ内面研磨具1は、シリコーンを主成分とする合成高分子化合物に硬化剤と発泡剤を添加して硬化させた研磨体を備えた研磨具であって、該研磨体を合成樹脂製糸状の芯材上に吐出して硬化させることにより前記芯材に離散的に固着させた研磨具である。また本発明の研磨方法は、前記金属パイプ内面研磨具1を金属パイプ4の内側に挿入し、前記研磨体を金属パイプ内面の寸法および形状に合わせて変形しながら接触させ、前記芯材を金属パイプ4の中心軸方向に牽引することにより該金属パイプ内面研磨具1を金属パイプ4の中心軸方向に移動させまた必要に応じて回転させて、前記研磨体の弾力によって金属パイプ内面を加圧しながら擦ることにより金属パイプ内面を研磨する。【選択図】図6
