Zusammenfassung:To provide a power conversion device which promptly discharges a capacitor of unit converters when stopping a power converter.SOLUTION: A power conversion device 10 comprises: a power converter 20 including multiple unit converters 30 each including a switching element, a control circuit which drives and controls the switching element, a capacitor which is charged/discharged by the switching element, and a self-power-supply circuit which is supplied with power from the capacitor and supplies power to the control circuit, and being cascaded; and a discharge circuit including a switch which is connected in parallel to the capacitor and discharges the capacitor by closing the circuit when the power converter 20 is stopped, a discharge resistor which is connected in series to the switch, and a drive circuit which opens the switch when the state where the power converter 20 is stopped is cancelled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】電力変換器の停止時に単位変換器のコンデンサを迅速に放電させる電力変換装置を提供する。【解決手段】電力変換装置10は、スイッチング素子と、前記スイッチング素子を駆動し、制御する制御回路と、前記スイッチング素子によって充放電されるコンデンサと、前記コンデンサから電力を供給され、前記制御回路に電力を供給する自給電源回路と、をそれぞれ含み、カスケードに接続された複数の単位変換器30を含む電力変換器20と、前記コンデンサに並列に接続され、前記電力変換器20を停止した場合に回路を閉じて前記コンデンサを放電するスイッチと、前記スイッチに直列に接続された放電抵抗と、前記電力変換器20を停止した状態が解除された場合に、前記スイッチを開放する駆動回路と、を含む放電回路と、を備える。【選択図】図1
