Zusammenfassung:To provide an image formation device capable of stabilizing an image quality of a formed image while preventing significant decrease in an image quality of a dot image and a line image.SOLUTION: An electrostatic latent image of a plurality of dot patches and a plurality of line patches mutually different in light exposure is created on a charged photoreceptor drum and then the created electrostatic latent image is developed by a toner to thereafter transfer the same onto an intermediate transfer belt travelling circumferentially (S1). Concentration of the plurality of line patches transferred onto the intermediate transfer belt is detected by a patch detection sensor 7 and concentration of the plurality of dot patches is detected by a patch detection sensor 8 (S2). The concentration detection results are used to calculate light exposure Eα and Eβ optimal for forming dots and lines (S3, S4) and then an average value Eγ therebetween is stored (S5, S6) to form an electrostatic latent image of dot and line images using the stored light exposure at the time of subsequent printing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】ドット画像とライン画像の画質が大きく低下することを防止して、形成画像の画質を安定可能な画像形成装置を提供すること。【解決手段】帯電された感光体ドラム上に露光量が相互に異なる複数個のドットパッチと複数個のラインパッチの静電潜像を作像し、作像した静電潜像をトナーで現像した後、周回走行している中間転写ベルト上に転写する(S1)。中間転写ベルト上に転写された複数個のラインパッチの濃度をパッチ検出センサー7で検出し、複数個のドットパッチの濃度をパッチ検出センサー8で検出する(S2)。その濃度検出結果からドットとラインの形成に最適な露光量EαとEβを算出し(S3、S4)、その平均値Eγを記憶して(S5、S6)、以降のプリント時にその記憶している露光量を用いてドットとライン画像の静電潜像を作像する。【選択図】図3
