INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, PROGRAM THEREFOR, AND FIXED STATION ARRANGEMENT PLACE DETERMINING METHOD

To enable a fixed station arrangement place for realizing a distance measuring system with which it is possible to obtain stable distance measurement accuracy to be determined even when a person in charge lacks knowledge and experience.SOLUTION: An information processing device detects, from the map information of a distance measurement region, an unmovable region where a mobile station is unmovable and a movable region where the mobile station is movable. The device defines a plurality of points on the boundary between the unmovable region and the movable region as a candidate for a fixed station arrangement place. The device excludes, from the candidate for the fixed station arrangement place, one of points located at both ends of a line segment which does not pass through the unmovable region and the length of which is less than or equal to a first threshold among the line segments linking each point defined as a candidate for the fixed station arrangement place. The device determines a point among the points defined as candidates for the fixed station arrangement place, except the point excluded by exclusion means, as an arrangement place for the fixed station.
