Zusammenfassung:To provide a tangential force imparting device capable of applying tangential force to a test piece during a fatigue test, and a fatigue test system equipped with the tangential force imparting device.SOLUTION: A tangential force imparting device includes a friction material, a pressing member, a driving mechanism, a holding part, a connection part for connecting the driving mechanism and the holding part, and a first supporting part for supporting the connection part. The friction material comes into contact with a plate-like test piece held in a fatigue test device from one side in a thickness direction of the test piece. The pressing member comes into contact with the test piece from the other side in the thickness direction. The driving mechanism is connected to the friction material at one side of the test piece and rotates the friction material. The holding part holds the pressing member at the other side of the test piece. A rotation center of the friction material is away from a center in a width direction of the test piece. The connection part includes a biasing part that biases the driving mechanism and the holding part in a direction toward each other. The first support part includes a main body and a first guide part.
