Zusammenfassung: | To provide an air conditioner capable of reducing a speed of discharging refrigerant from an indoor unit to an interior area when refrigerant is leaked out of a connecting part of a heat transfer pipe of an indoor heat exchanger where refrigerant heavier than air flows inside of it and capable of restricting a formation of an area where refrigerant concentration is high at the interior area within a short time.SOLUTION: An air conditioner of this invention comprises an indoor machine casing 40 installed at an interior area, and an indoor heat exchanger 3 stored inside the indoor machine casing 40, and having heat transfer pipes 13 where refrigerant heavier than air under atmospheric pressure flows. The heat transfer pipes 13 comprise plural linear parts 13b and U-shaped parts 13a connecting the linear parts 13b to each other. Then, there is further provided a storing part 30 air-tightly covering a vertical lower side than an upper-most connection part Y of a connection part X between the linear part 13b and the U-shaped part 13a, and formed with a discharging port 33 arranged at a vertical higher position than the upper-most connection part Y. An opening diameter of the discharging port 33 is larger than a pipe diameter of the connection part X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】空気より重い冷媒が内部に流通する室内熱交換器の伝熱管の接合部から冷媒が漏洩した場合に、室内機から室内への冷媒排出速度を低減でき、短時間のうちに室内に冷媒濃度が高い領域が形成されるのを抑制可能である空気調和機を提供する。【解決手段】この発明に係る空気調和機は、室内に設置された室内機筐体40と、室内機筐体40の内部に収容され、大気圧下で空気より重い冷媒が内部に流通する伝熱管13を有する室内熱交換器3と、を備える。伝熱管13は、複数の直状部13bと、直状部13b同士を接続するU字状部13aとを備える。そして、直状部13bとU字状部13aとの接合部Xの、最上接合部Yよりも鉛直下方側を気密に覆い、最上接合部Yよりも鉛直上方に配置された排出口33が形成された貯留部30をさらに備える。排出口33の口径は、接合部Xの管径より大きい。【選択図】図4 |
