To provide a fixing device which can reduce a production cost, is favorable in workability, easy in an operation, and fixable and releasable by a simple operation.SOLUTION: A fixing device 10 comprises: a drive body 30 which is movable in an axial direction; an operation body 40 for movably operating the drive body 10; a main body 15 having a plurality of penetration holes 15a, and covering at least an external peripheral face of the drive body 10; rolling bodies 20 held in the penetration holes 15a, and rolling between a protrusion position H protruding to the outside from the penetration holes 15a and a retreat position L retreating to the inside of the penetration holes 15a by being pressed to the external peripheral face of the drive body 10; and a moving mechanism 50 for relatively moving the main body 15 and the drive body 30 so as to arrange and maintain the rolling bodies 20 in the protrusion position H or the retreat position L in conjunction with an operation of the operation body 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】生産コストの低減化が図れるとともに作業性が良く、簡易な操作で固定又は固定解除可能な固定装置を提供する。【解決手段】固定装置１０は、軸方向に移動可能な駆動体３０と、駆動体１０を移動操作する操作体４０と、周方向に複数の貫通孔１５ａを有し、少なくとも駆動体１０の外周面を覆う本体１５と、貫通孔１５ａに保持され、駆動体１０の外周面に押圧されて貫通孔１５ａから外側に突出する突出位置Ｈと貫通孔１５ａの内側へ退避した退避位置Ｌの間を移動する転動体２０と、操作体４０の操作に連動して転動体２０を突出位置Ｈ又は退避位置Ｌに配置して維持するように本体１５と駆動体３０を相対的に移動する移動機構部５０と、を備える。【選択図】図３
