TAPING DEVICE AND TAPING METHOD

To provide a taping device which can accurately perform supply of a component to a component conveyance disk even when the component is small.SOLUTION: A taping device TM includes: a component supply mechanism 40 which supplies a component PA to a component storage groove 22 of a component conveyance disk 20 in a component supply section so that a part in a length direction of the component enters into the length direction; a component direction change mechanism which changes a direction of the component PA whose part in the length direction is in the component storage groove 22 in a component direction change section, and stores it in the component storage groove 22 in a direction of matching this; and a component insertion mechanism 60 which inserts the component PA stored in the component storage groove 22 of the component conveyance disk 20 at a component insertion position in the direction matching the component storage groove 22 into a component storage recess part CTa of a carrier tape CT.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】部品が小型であっても部品搬送ディスクへの部品の供給を的確に行えるテーピング装置を提供する。【解決手段】テーピング装置ＴＭは、部品供給区域において部品搬送ディスク２０の部品収容溝２２に部品ＰＡをその長さ方向の一部が長さ向きで入り込むように供給する部品供給機構４０と、部品向き変更区域において部品収容溝２２に長さ方向の一部が入り込んでいる部品ＰＡの向きを変更して当該部品収容溝２２にこれと整合する向きで収容する部品向き変更機構と、部品挿入位置において部品搬送ディスク２０の部品収容溝２２に当該部品収容溝２２と整合する向きで収容されている部品ＰＡをキャリアテープＣＴの部品収納凹部ＣＴａに挿入する部品挿入機構６０を有している。【選択図】図３
