Zusammenfassung:	To provide an assembly device which can suppress damage or deformation of each workpiece during fitting work of two workpieces.SOLUTION: An alignment device 40 includes a base device 10 which holds a first workpiece W1, and a control part 30 which controls the base device 10. The base device 10 includes a first to fourth air springs 16a-16d which are connected to a side surface of a stage 12 and expand/contract in response to movement of the stage 12 on a stage moving surface 11S. The control part 30 fixes the stage 12 by each air spring 16a-16d after the second workpiece W2 is fitted to the first workpiece W1 to a predetermined depth T1+T2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】２つのワークの嵌め合い作業において、各ワークの損傷又は変形を抑制可能な組立装置を提供する。【解決手段】調芯装置４０は、第１ワークＷ１を保持するベース装置１０と、ベース装置１０を制御する制御部３０とを備える。ベース装置１０は、ステージ１２の側面に接続され、ステージ移動面１１Ｓ上におけるステージ１２の移動に応じて伸縮する第１乃至第４空気ばね１６ａ〜１６ｄを有する。制御部３０は、第１ワークＷ１に第２ワークＷ２が所定深さＴ１+Ｔ２まで嵌め合わされた後、各空気ばね１６ａ〜１６ｄによってステージ１２を固定させる。【選択図】図１
