Zusammenfassung:	To provide a polycarbonate resin having excellent properties such as heat resistance, optical properties, melting workability, and an optical film containing the same.SOLUTION: A polycarbonate resin includes at least a structural unit represented by the following formula (1), and has a glass transition temperature of 120°C or more and 180°C or less, wherein, a value of wavelength dispersion (R450/R550), the ratio between phase difference (R450) at wavelength 450 nm and phase difference (R550) at wavelength 550 nm, is 0.50 or more and 1.03 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】耐熱性、光学特性、溶融加工性等の種々の特性に優れたポリカーボネート樹脂、及びそれからなる光学フィルムを提供する。【解決手段】少なくとも下記式（１）で表される構造単位が含まれており、ガラス転移温度は１２０℃以上、１８０℃以下であり、波長４５０ｎｍにおける位相差（Ｒ４５０）と波長５５０ｎｍにおける位相差（Ｒ５５０）との比である波長分散（Ｒ４５０／Ｒ５５０）の値は０．５０以上、１．０３以下であるポリカーボネート樹脂。【選択図】なし
