To provide an LED illumination device capable of achieving a change of color similar to that of an incandescent light bulb in dimming by a simple configuration without increasing the number of components by improving the number and arrangement of LEDs.SOLUTION: An LED illumination device 1 includes a substrate 2, a first LED chip CW arranged on the substrate 2, and a second LED chip WW arranged on the substrate 2, whose color temperature is lower than that of the first LED chip CW. The number of the first LED chip CW is larger than the number of the second LED chip WW.
