LANDING OF UNMANNED AIRCRAFT ON MOVING TRANSPORT VEHICLE FOR TRANSPORTATION

To provide a transportation system that enables an unmanned aircraft to land on a moving transport vehicle when the unmanned aircraft has a low battery level or has a mechanical issue.SOLUTION: An unmanned aircraft UAV that flies to a destination in order to deliver an article can land on a transport vehicle (e.g., a delivery truck) for a temporary transportation. A contract with an owner of the transport vehicle (e.g., a shipment and transportation provider) and an agreement for landing are concluded for determining a compensation for the landing. An associated transport vehicle that is usable for landing is identified by a marker on a roof or other identification methods. A route of the transport vehicle is known and is used for determining a location where the UAV lands on the transport vehicle and takes off from the transport vehicle.
