To provide an aqueous coating material which exhibits excellent adhesion to various substrates and coating films.SOLUTION: The aqueous coating material of the present invention contains an aqueous epoxy resin (A), an amino group-containing resin (B), and an amino group-containing silane compound (M). The mixing ratio thereof satisfies the following (I) and (II): (I) X/Y>1; and (II) Y/Y>0.8.
