Zusammenfassung:To improve the strength of a reinforcement member without increasing the weight thereof.SOLUTION: A reinforcement member 5 used as a vehicle body composing member 1 comprises a reinforcement part 6 composed of an embossed part. The reinforcement part 6 is composed of the embossed part having a plurality of recesses and projections, one alternating with the other. Each recess is a recessed segment formed long and straight in a predetermined direction. Each projection is a long straight projecting segment formed parallel with the recesses. The projection is in contact with an internal surface of a top wall part 2. However, the invention is not limited to this and a slight gap may be allowed between the projection and the internal surface. It is preferable that the reinforcement part 6 be disposed such that the recesses and the projections are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body composing member 1. This way, the bending strength of the vehicle body composing member 1 can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】補強部材の重量を増加させることなくその強度を高める。【解決手段】車体構成部材1に用いられる補強部材5は、エンボス部により構成される補強部6を備える。補強部6は、複数の凹部及び凸部を交互に有するエンボス部により構成される。凹部は、所定の方向に沿って長尺状かつ直線状に構成される凹条部である。凸部は、凹部と平行に構成される長尺状かつ直線状の凸条部である。凸部は、天壁部2の内面に接触しているが、これに限らず凸部と内面との間に若干の隙間が在ってもよい。補強部6は、その凹部及び凸部が車体構成部材1の長手方向に沿うように配置されることが望ましい。これにより、車体構成部材1の曲げ強度を向上させることができる。【選択図】図1
