Zusammenfassung:To provide a sleeve type shaft coupling in which looseness is hardly generated in the coupling under secular distortion, a rotational torque can be positively transmitted, an axial thrust can be stably received and a water passage portion is less narrowed even if it is applied to a vertical pump.SOLUTION: A sleeve type shaft coupling in which two rotating shafts accepting simultaneously axial thrust and rotating torque are fastened is constituted in such a way that each of two rotating shafts 7, 10 has recess grooves 7A, 10A extending over an entire circumference in a peripheral direction, a split ring 13 having a block construction is fitted into the recess grooves, a rigid plate 12 is fastened by bolts to the split ring, a shaft coupling sleeve 11 is outwardly fitted between the two rigid plates at an outer circumference of the rotating shaft, tapered surfaces 11A, 12A of the rigid plate and the shaft coupling sleeve are pushed and contacted from each other to cause a pre-pressure to be applied to the rotating shaft, and the rotating shaft and the shaft coupling sleeve have keys 15 fitted into keyways 15A in a direction of axial line to transmit a rotating torque between the rotating shaft and the shaft coupling sleeve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 経年変化によって継手内にガタツキが発生し難く、回転トルクを確実に伝達でき、軸スラストを安定に受けることができ、立型ポンプに適用しても水通路部分を狭めることの少ないスリーブ型軸継手を提供する。【解決手段】 軸方向スラストと回転トルクを同時に受ける2本の回転軸を締結するスリーブ型軸継手において、2本の回転軸7、10の各々は円周方向全周に伸びる凹溝7A、10Aを有し、凹溝には軸スラストを受ける分割構造のスプリットリング13が嵌入され、スプリットリングにはリジットプレート12がボルト締結され、回転軸外周の2つのリジットプレートの間には軸継手スリーブ11が外装され、リジットプレート及び軸継手スリーブのテーパ面11A、12Aが相互に押接されて回転軸に予圧が付与され、回転軸及び軸継手スリーブは軸線方向のキー溝15Aにキー15が嵌入されて回転軸と軸継手スリーブの間で回転トルクを伝達する。【選択図】 図1
