DRYER, COATING FILM FORMING DEVICE, AND DRYING METHOD

To provide a dryer, a coating film forming device, and a drying method, capable of preventing uneven drying in the width direction of a coating film from occurring.SOLUTION: The dryer comprises: a transporting section that transports a sheet-like base material 9 along a predetermined transportation route; a drying section that dries a coating liquid coated on the base material 9 on the transportation route; a measuring section that measures the dryness of the coating liquid; and a control section that controls the individual sections. The drying section comprises a heating section 510 comprising a plurality of heating units 60 disposed in the width direction of the base material 9 and capable of adjusting drying power. The measuring section carries out measurement on the upstream side of the heating section 510.
