To facilitate a management of an instrument and the like.SOLUTION: An information processing system according to an embodiment of the present invention has: a server; one or more electronic instruments that is/or are connected via the server; a signal transmitter that sends out a radio wave containing a prescribed identifier; and a mobile terminal that uses the electronic instrument. The electronic instrument is configured to, when receiving the identifier from the signal transmitter, register the identifier, and instrument information containing identification information on the electronic instrument in the server. The server is configured to manage the instrument information received from each electronic instrument in correspondence with the identifier.
