Zusammenfassung:	To provide a quay crane and control method of this quay crane capable of restricting an auxiliary stay from being deformed due to excessive stress when a folding boom is in lodging state and maintaining a horizontal orientation of a tip boom accurately by the auxiliary stay when the folding boom is in standing state.SOLUTION: An auxiliary stay 15 is configured with a columnar member capable of supporting compression in extending direction, at either of a connection part 14 and a sea side end part of the auxiliary stay 15 connected to this connection part 14, a pin P4 having running direction y as axial direction is arranged, at other a slot 16 is formed to with this pin P4 inserted and having extending direction of the auxiliary stay 15 as longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】中折れブームが起立状態のとき補助ステーにより先端ブームの水平姿勢を精度よく維持するとともに、中折れブームが倒伏状態のときに補助ステーが過大な応力により変形することを抑制できる岸壁クレーンおよびこの岸壁クレーンの制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】補助ステー１５を延在方向の圧縮力を支持可能な柱状部材で構成して、連結部１４またはこの連結部１４に連結される補助ステー１５の海側端部の一方に走行方向ｙを軸方向とするピンＰ４を設置して、他方にこのピンＰ４を挿入されて補助ステー１５の延在方向を長手方向とする長穴１６を形成する。【選択図】図５
