Zusammenfassung: | To obtain a side airbag device-mounted vehicle seat which can achieve both of improvement in initial restraint performance for a crewman and assurance of a suitable occupant restraint force, and a side airbag device.SOLUTION: When side collision possibility increases, a second inflator 40 supplies a gas to an additional chamber 52 by a collision prediction sensor 48 which predicts collision of a vehicle, presses a crewman P to a vehicle width direction inner side before side collision, and can perform initial restraint. Thereafter, when collision occurs, a first inflator 38 supplies the gas to an outer side chamber 34 and an inner side chamber 50 by a collision sensor 46 which detects such a collision, and can suitably arrest the crewman P at the time of side collision. That is, since the inner side chamber 50 and the outer side chamber 34, and the additional chamber 52 are respectively independently configured, a suitable occupant restraint force can be exhibited at each timing before collision of the vehicle and at the time of side collision of the vehicle. 【課題】乗員の初期拘束性能の向上と、適切な乗員拘束力の確保とを両立できるサイドエアバッグ装置を搭載した車両用シート及びサイドエアバッグ装置を得る。【解決手段】側突の可能性が高まると、車両の衝突を予知する衝突予知センサ48により第2インフレータ40が追加チャンバ52へ気体を供給し、乗員Pを側突前に車両幅方向内側へと押圧して初期拘束を行うことができる。その後側突すると、これを検知した衝突センサ46により第1インフレータ38が外側チャンバ34及び内側チャンバ50へ気体を供給し、側突時の乗員Pを適切に拘束することができる。つまり、内側チャンバ50及び外側チャンバ34と、追加チャンバ52とは、それぞれ独立した構成とされていることから、車両衝突前及び車両衝突時のそれぞれのタイミングにて適切な乗員拘束力を発揮させることが可能となる。これにより、初期拘束性能の向上と、適切な乗員拘束力の確保とを両立できる。【選択図】図3 |
