Zusammenfassung: | To provide a vehicle body substructure capable of fully transmitting an input load, which comes from outside a vehicle, to a cross member without an increase in the weight of a vehicle body.SOLUTION: A vehicle body 1 includes side sills 3 extending in a vehicular fore-and-aft direction, and a floor cross member 5 disposed inside in a vehicle width direction of the side sills 3 and extending in the vehicle width direction. The side sill 3 includes a side sill outer panel 8, and a side sill inner panel 9 that is disposed inside in the vehicle width direction of the side sill outer panel 8 and forms a closed section space S in collaboration with the side sill outer panel 8. In the closed section space S, a bulk 16 shaped in line with the floor cross member 5 is opposed to the floor cross member 5 with the side sill inner panel 9 between them. The bulk 16 includes a front wall 17, a rear wall 18 disposed behind the front wall 17, and an upper wall 19 that is disposed to link the front wall 17 and rear wall 18 and forms two ridges 22, which extend in the vehicle width direction, in collaboration with the front wall 17 and rear wall 18 respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】車体の重量を増加させることなく、車両外側からの入力荷重をクロスメンバへ十分に伝達することができる車体下部構造を提供する。【解決手段】車体1は、車体前後方向に延在するサイドシル3と、サイドシル3の車幅方向内側に配置され、車幅方向に延在するフロアクロスメンバ5とを備え、サイドシル3は、サイドシルアウタ8と、サイドシルアウタ8の車幅方向内側に配置され、サイドシルアウタ8と協働して閉断面空間Sを形成するサイドシルインナ9とを有し、閉断面空間Sには、フロアクロスメンバ5に対応した形状を有するバルク16がサイドシルインナ9を挟んでフロアクロスメンバ5と対向するように配置されており、バルク16は、前壁部17と、前壁部17の後方に配置された後壁部18と、前壁部17と後壁部18とを繋ぐように設けられ、前壁部17及び後壁部18と協働して車幅方向に延在する2つの稜線22を形成する上壁部19とを有する。【選択図】図2 |
