The catalyst may be a niobium carbene complex having an alkoxy group as a ligand. The catalyst may be prepared by reacting a niobium compound represented by the following formula (1): NbX(1), wherein Xrepresents an alkoxy group or a halogen atom, m represents 3 or 5, m Xmay be same or different, zinc, and a carbene formable compound.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】入手しやすい原料から容易に調製できる新規な開環メタセシス重合触媒と、該触媒を用いた環状オレフィン重合物の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の開環メタセシス重合触媒は価数が4価以下の低原子価ニオブを含むニオブカルベン錯体である。この触媒は、アルコキシ基を配位子として有するニオブカルベン錯体であってもよい。また、この触媒は、下記式(1)NbX1m(1)(式中、X1はアルコキシ基又はハロゲン原子を示す。mは3又は5を示す。m個のX1は同一でもよく異なっていてもよい)で表されるニオブ化合物と、亜鉛と、カルベン形成性化合物とを反応させることにより調製されるものであってもよい。【選択図】なし |
